Do You Feel Lost & Are Wondering What's Next?
Hi I am Angela (a.k.a Annie) and I am so glad you are here.
Are you a mother with grown-up or near grown-up children who is feeling a sense of loss, grief, loneliness or confusion as to what's next?
Midlife is a very odd stage of life that no-one told you about and you are left to muddle through.
We may have had connections with other mothers as our children grew up, and as they got into high school things drifted apart. Connections waned and when you did meet up, you didn't have the same common ground any more.
There are so many things going on in our lives as women, and we often don't have anyone at the same stage to really talk to.
For some, the term "empty nests" can spark excitement and for others fear or dread. And what about the word "retirement"? That's a word that doesn't resonate with me at all. How about you?
After putting our lives on hold for our children, isn't it time for something new? For something for YOU instead?
Are you wondering what the possibilities are, after dedicating so many years to looking after your family?
I know I was, AND at the same time I was feeling so lost and lacking purpose. I had no confidence in my value outside my family and my usefulness within my family was dwindling as my children needed me less and less.
Hitting menopause is also a twist to this time in life and as a consequence we can feel like we have no energy to do anything more. This is a time when we feel we need to hit pause (a different kind of pause!) and replenish ourselves, because we all know that without our health and energy we have nothing.
And, then there are our relationships! The good, the bad and the ugly! We may or may not have neglected our relationship during our child rearing years and we all know couples who look like a well-oiled machine of a family and when the last child finishes school, it's all over. Now that's not everyone. And you may not think it's you. What if you could work on this before it became irretrievable?
These were all things I was thinking about as my children reached the end of their school years. I had a choice. I could bury my head in the sand and mourn the loss of having my children around me. Or I could carve out something new and exciting.
Am I there yet? Am I perfect? No!
I have spent a lot of time and money developing and practicing my skills. Learning from the world's best, so that I have the confidence to know that I am valuable beyond my motherhood. And I am even more valuable to my family as a leader in my own life and a role model for theirs.
That is why I am dedicated to supporting you get find your meaning after motherhood. To gain the clarity and make the decisions that you have been putting off. Especially the ones that make the biggest difference and move your life forward. Because YOU DESERVE IT.
Life is too short to be stuck, there is so much more to come. Who is with me? Who wants to create the most exciting and meaningful chapter of their life yet? First, let's have some FUN Come Join The Party
